Dr. Ana graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Lisbon and is Specialized in Rheumatology by the Portuguese Medical Association. Dr. Ana has also been trained in Switzerland and France in various Rheumatology services at the Cantonal Hospital of General and the Henri Mondor Hospital in Paris.
Between 1990 and 2013, Dr. Ana worked at the Portuguese Institute of Rheumatology, in Lisbon, which is one of the first units of Rheumatology in Europe, where she also worked as the Clinical Director and a Board Member.
