Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mabrouk graduated with honors from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt - MBBCh in 1986, MS in ENT in 1990, MD in ENT in 1995. He became a fellow at the Audiology and Otology Center of University of Bari, Italy in 1993; at ENT, Head and Neck Surgery of Wurzburg University, Germany in 1994; at Department of ENT Diseases, Head, Neck, and Facial Plastic Surgery, Communication Disorders ? Fulda Clinic, Philipps University, Germany in the same year.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf is a passionate educator. He started as an Assistant Lecturer of ENT at the Faculty of Medicine in Ain Shams University, Egypt in 1991. After 4 years, he became a Lecturer of ENT, an Assistant Professor of ENT in 2000, then a Professor of ENT in 2006 at the same university.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf started his practice at various hospitals in Egypt and became affiliated with well-known medical institutions in Italy and Germany. In 2002, he worked as a Consultant in ENT at a large government hospital in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He moved to UAE in 2008 and continued his practice in private medical centers in Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Burjeel Hospital, he worked as a Consultant in ENT at a large government medical facility for 6 years.
To his credit, Prof. Dr. Ashraf has authored many researches, published in peer-reviewed and military medical journals in Egypt and Germany. He has presented in and attended several local and international conferences in the UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Germany, and Italy.
