Dr Phanipriya Garikapati has a vast experience of more than 18yrs in the field of General and Laparoscopic Surgery & Surgical Gastroenterology. After completing her medical education from Mumbai University, she has worked as a Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist in one of the premier hospitals in Hyderabad, Apollo hospitals, for more than 10 yrs, where she has managed a variety of surgical and trauma cases.
She has been trained in Minimal Access Surgery and has acquired FMAS, from AMASI – Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, Coimbatore.

Absolute worst doctor to ever have come across
I visited her today at the Emirates hospital jumeirah and what a deranged, horrendous and uncouth woman to be a doctor she is! She paid no attention to the concerns raised and viewed my MRI reports, after which she asked me to PRAY that it does not get worse and also called me paranoid when I mentioned my symptoms when all i have is an uncomplicated rectal problem. She said she couldnt help me and asked me to leave in an extremely rude manner when I voiced my concerns again as she paid no heed to them in the first place. The treatment and attitude does not deserve 1 star but thats the least thats available over here. She was annoyed with any question i asked about my symptoms and even presumed and made statements without asking about my meat consumption. She said stop eating red meat by assuming that I eat a lot of meat because i wore a hijab,when in reality i do not consume red meat at all. I left the clinic feeling extremely dejected and will also be raising this manhandling and ill-treatment with the dubai health authority against this woman!
