Hystroscopy for Fibroid removal

I underwent a Hystroscopy for removal of Fibroids (Myoma) with Dr. Usha Kiran at Prime Hospital. She walked me though the process and assured that this is best way to handle my situation. My surgical procedure went like a breeze and I was discharged the same day. She is definitely one of the best doctors i have met in Dubai and I highly recommend her.

My Laparoscopic Myomectomy Experience with Dr.Usha

After consulting multiple doctors, we were referred to Dr. Usha by another physician who highly recommended her as one of the best gynecological surgeons, particularly for fibroid removal. We met Dr. Usha at Prime BurJuman, and during the consultation, her expertise in this area was evident, giving me the confidence to proceed with her advice. Following an MRI, a 2cm fibroid was discovered near the uterine cavity wall, likely the cause of my continuous bleeding for two months. Dr. Usha recommended a laparoscopic myomectomy (fibroid removal), and I decided to move forward with the procedure. I had my surgery a week ago and am currently in recovery. Throughout the process, Dr. Usha has been incredibly supportive, always just a text away to address any pre- or post-operative concerns. This level of attentiveness has greatly enhanced my overall experience as a patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Usha for her skill, professionalism, and compassionate care.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Usha, and Im so glad to have found her. She is truly the best OB-Gyne in Dubai! I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and needed a hysterectomy which Dr. Usha performed using the advanced scarless (vNOTES) surgery. Dr. Usha is highly experienced and has exceptional advanced surgical skills, which made the entire process seamless. My recovery has been so smooth and virtually pain-free thanks to her expertise and care. She and her team provided exceptional support, explaining every step clearly and ensuring I felt comfortable and confident throughout. Despite being a busy surgeon with family and kids, Dr. Usha Kiran is an adventurous and lively person who has an interesting extracurricular life with activities such as high altitude trekking/mountaineering, skiing, fashion shows and charity community services.


Apart from her professional and academic achievements, she is passionate about trekking  and has not only trekked to Everest Base camp twice but also has climbed the tallest free standing mountain of the world, Kilimanjaro, not just once but twice in the last year and Machu Picchu the UNESCO  heritage mountain.


At the age of 57, she became the OLDEST INIDAN WOMAN and THE ONLY FEMALE DOCTOR IN UAE to have summited the World's 8th highest and 4th dangerous mountain, Manaslu in Nepal which is at a height of 8163 metres known as the dead zone, as human life cannot survive at this level without the help of additional oxygen.  


Dr. Usha Kiran is a living example of someone who believes age is no bar and believes in the infinite power of the mind and says if the mind decides to achieve something, nothing is impossible.


The first 50 years of her life were spent achieving family balance & professional excellence.


When she turned 50, she realized that she has so many desires and aspirations to venture into many unchartered area of her life; she calls the second half of her life as ' not the end but the beginning of a new journey   the second innings!'


She has not only climbed some of the tallest mountains of the world but also taken part in a Beauty Pageant at 56 years and won the 'Woman of Pride' title along with being the Platinum winner of the event.
