An extensive and a long experience in all sub-specialities general Paediatrics (growth/neutrition, respiratory, gastroenterology, neurology/neurodisabilities and acute Paediatrics and Paediatric emergencies) at a senior and consultant levels from UK and Paris.
An extensive and a long experience at a senior and consultant levels in neonatal intensive care (NICU) from UK, Paris and Corniche hospital in Abu Dhabi.
An extensive and a long experience in neurodevelopmental assessments in neonates and Paediatrics. She was leading on these clinics in UK since 1996 (using Griffith?s scales and Bayley III neurodevelopmental assessment scales). These are run as a multidesplinary clinics lead by the consultant Neonatologist together with the occupational therapist, physiotherapist, speech/language therapists, the orthotics and the dietician.
A special interest in neonatal neurology following years of experience with Dr Dubowitz in UK and Professor Aicardi in Paris.
An extensive and a long experience in general newborn/babies conditions and of neonatal follow up clinics at a consultant levels from UK
An extensive research experience from UK on neonatal neurological examination and neonatal Cranial Ultrasonography. She also published many studies in the reputable international journals when working as a consultant neonatologist/head of the Paediatric department in Corniche hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Extensive experience in teaching and training; including teaching medical students from Birmingham University ,Paediatrics speciality trainees (preparing for CST in Paediatrics),trainees in family medicine ,and foundation years trainees following their graduations.
Neonatal Life Support (NLS) instructor teaching it nationally in UK and internationally.
Advanced Paediatric life support (APLS) and European Paediatrics Advanced Life Support (EPALS) certified provider
Established and led the neonatal simulation teaching and training programmes in GHH/UHB hospitals NHS trust in UK.
