Dr Vinod Varghese is our Specialist in Neurology with more than 8 years of experience. Prior to his joining in Burjeel Royal Hospital, he has served as a Consultant Neurologist at Lourdes hospital in Cochin, India. He has also worked in medical college Trivandrum as Consultant in General Medicine, and has taught as a lecturer in Internal Medicine for under graduate and post graduate students.
His experience in neurology is vast, and includes thrombolysis of stroke patients, administering botulinum toxin for movement disorders, needle EMG for neuromuscular problems and managing patients of epilepsy (along with reporting EEG ?s). His interest in neurology has earned him a Fellowship from the European Board of Neurology.
Dr Vinod Varghese has completed his MBBS in 2002 and he completed his post-graduation in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Trivandrum, India in 2007. He then successfully completed his DM in Neurology from one of the premier institutions- NIMHANS (National institute of Mental Health and Neuro sciences) in Bangalore. He has attained the SCE in Neurology from the prestigious Royal College of Physicians United Kingdom.
