More Than a Doctor - A True Blessing

I had the most incredible experience with Dr. Esra Mejid throughout my pregnancy and delivery. From the very start, she was warm, supportive, and always made me feel truly cared for. She has this beautiful way of making you feel like more than just a patient she shares in your joy, comforts you through every worry. When it came time for delivery, she showed up immediately after we called and handled everything so smoothly and confidently it gave me such peace of mind. Her expertise was so evident in the way she managed every step with calm, precision, and grace. I trusted her completely, and she made even the most intense moments feel safe and under control. Im beyond grateful for Dr. Esra and her team they turned this life-changing journey into something truly beautiful.

Having a chance to become a mother!

To understand how professional, knowledgeable and wonderful Dr. Esra is, I have to share my story of miracle. I have been married since March, 2022, and for almost 2 years after that I couldnt get pregnant. I went to different gynecologists; either we did not get along (and this was very important for me), or it seemed that the doctor was incompetent. As a result, in July 2023 I booked an appointment with Dr. Esra (our whole family are loyal patients of Dubai Kings College Hospital). Over the course of several months Ive been examined by Dr. Esra and by all indications, I was fertile , and so is my husband. We fixed some minor issues. However our main goal was to find out the reason I couldnt get pregnant, as a result, with her persistence and knowledge, she diagnosed me with CIN III (which could develop into cancer). I had surgery in December 2024, and was on medications for a couple more months, vaccinated against HPV).Finally, by May,2024 as soon as the treatment was over, me and my husband got 2 lines on a test, we conceived! Throughout the pregnancy, Dr Esra monitored me very carefully, and huge thanks to her, by the end of January 2025, my daughter was born through natural childbirth. I am very grateful to you for my miracle of being a mother!

The BEST doctor, HIGHLY recommend!

If youre looking for a doctor who is truly going to take care of you in every way possible, Dr Esra is the one. She listened to my birth wishes and even though my baby was very big and almost impossible to deliver naturally she still made it happen because she knew it was important to me! She took away all my worries and made me feel well informed throughout my pregnancy and labour. You can tell she genuinely cares for her patients and could feel the warmth and love towards me and then the baby also. Im now two weeks postpartum, I have healed beautifully and enjoying my healthy newborn. I cant thank you enough Dr Esra, this experience was totally different to my first birth that I had in the UK. A beautiful memory and experience. Thank you a million x

Dr Esra is an amazing and fabulous doctor. Beyond her serious skills, I thank her for supporting my pregnancy until the end with a natural vaginal birth, thank you for the warmth, and the wonderful postpartum period.

Excellent doctor!

Dr Esra is the best doctor ever! I am so happy that I came across her and she became my obgyn. Me and my husband are very grateful to taking us through both pregnancies. She is so carrying, so helpful, always there to support ! She always took any concerns we had very seriously, always trying to find solutions. Her hugs, smile and kind words took me through the difficulties of the pregnancy. I couldnt ask for a better doctor :) I remember being so happy each time I had an appointment with Dr Esra and I wish I could see her every week! Highly recommended

She started her professional career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Baghdad Hospitals. To follow her passion she moved to Sweden and worked as a specialist with Sundsvall County Hospital – one of the best teaching institutions in Sweden. Later, she worked as a specialist in Sodra Alv Borg hospital of Gothenburg, then she moved to Dubai in 2016.
